Building healthy relationships is critical to sustaining a healthy lifestyle.   Here is some analysis of where I stand today.



People

This is one of the things I am probably masterclass at.   Got it down.   I win friends and influence people like no other because I do it from the heart and for the sport of it.   Hard pressed to find somebody to speak down on my character.


Food

Well...this one is the single reason I don't make and or keep the gains.  I love to eat and fall into the trap game easily.  Meaning, one handful of M&Ms could send me over the edge and lead me to a binge.  I have the "it's too late now" attitude instead of learning portion control and that its OKAY to a slice of cake.   I need to have confidence when I am in a volatile surrounding and be able to enjoy myself without giving in and giving up -  i.e a party where there is pizza.

Booze

This one is interesting because I have wondered (often) if I have a drinking problem.  Over time I overstand that you can not be an alcoholic but still have a problem with alcohol.     I definitely am not an alcoholic but I use it as an excuse to be wild and free.  I also use it as a "kickstarter" for events (poker, parties, events, visiting relatives and friends).   Never get out of hand but just not a great tool when simultaneously trying to be healthy and responsibility.


Myself

This is really a culmination of all of the above.  I need to respect my wishes!   Be true to myself and respect ME like I respect others.   I have the right intentions, plans, and attitude but the missing factor is the discipline to maintain the respect level.
